What happens at the end of my tenancy?
When you take out a One Utility Bill package this either be on a fixed-term package, or you will have an open tenancy meaning you will be on a rolling One Utility Bill package. Depending on what type of package you are on:
Fixed-term: We will contact you approximately 6 weeks before your package end date to see if you will be extending your tenancy and would like to renew your contract, or if you would like to take your One Utility Bill package to your new home. If not, we will initiate the closure of your One Utility Bill package for your tenancy end date. Our team will be in touch once this has been completed.
Rolling basis: Your One Utility Bill package will continue to roll over on a month to month basis. You will need to give at least 30 days notice before your tenancy end date to close your One Utility Bill account. You can do this by contacting our Customer Support team.
If you are a capped energy user, your account will be subject to being balanced with the energy suppliers between 8-12 weeks of the package end date. Following this, we will be in contact to advise if you are due to be refunded for any overpayments, or make any payments for any over usage on your chosen services.
