Why do I need to top up my prepayment meter?

You will need to top-up your prepayment meter until the meter exchange has occurred.

To do this depends on who your current supplier is. The options are: 

- At your local paypoint
- At your local post office or, 
- Some suppliers allow you to top up online or via their app.

To top up in a Paypoint store, you will need to take the meter card or key that was supplied to you via post from the current provider to the Paypoint, if you have not received the meter key or card please get in touch with us as soon as possible. 


Once you top up, please ensure that you email a photo of the receipt to [email protected] or upload this to your dashboard. We will issue you a full refund of all prepayment meter top-ups within 5 days of your request being received. 

If you top up your meter online or via an app, please send over the top-up confirmation to [email protected] or upload this to your dashboard. We will issue you a full refund of all prepayment meter top-ups within 5 days of your request being received. 

 

Without a receipt or confirmation, we cannot issue a refund.
