About the role

As Office Manager you will be responsible for ensuring the One Utility Bill office operates professionally and efficiently. You will be the first point of contact for the office function and provide invaluable support to the whole team (currently approx. 50 people.)

This is a busy, hands-on role and will suit a dedicated, pro-active person with previous office administration experience looking to have a high level of responsibility within their role.

Some of your main duties will include:

  • Ensuring the office environment is always kept safe, clean, organised and well supplied including managing the office budget to ensure we get best value on all purchases; 

  • Liaising with building managers and cleaners to report issues as required and see them through to completion;

  • Troubleshooting day-to-day IT issues and coordinate the resolution of more complex problems using other people in the business or external parties;

  • Ensuring all new starters are provided with the equipment they require, the equipment is set up according to company guidelines and basic training is provided on systems we use; 

  • Providing administrative support to the management team including preparing reports, drafting internal communications and preparing HR documents;

  • Being the first point of contact for Health and Safety within the office and keeping up to date with UK legislation.

About you

We are looking for a highly organised multitasker with impeccable attention to detail who has the ability to juggle demands and prioritise workloads.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have: 

  • Demonstrable experience in a similar role; 

  • A proactive and positive attitude;

  • Good planning and organisational skills with strong attention to detail;

  • Strong communication skills including a high level of written English.
