Sales Advisor (One Utility Bill)

Full time, temporary

Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday – Friday.

Start date: 29th June 2020

Salary: £9 per hour + commission

About the role

Here at One Utility Bill we’re a friendly team and have built our reputation on providing exceptional service whilst selling the right solution to our customers.

We’re looking for confident, enthusiastic people to join our busy B2C Sales team and make outbound calls to warm leads, who are mainly young professionals or families. Using our CRM system, you’ll help them to understand the packages we offer and match them with one that is perfect for them. As with any sales role, you’ll need to overcome objections and be determined and persistent in closing the sale.

You’ll need to be confident in explaining the features and benefits of our service and you’ll also be required to upsell broadband and TV (this is how you’ll earn your commission). Your performance will be measured against ambitious but realistic targets and you’ll be working as part of our talented and supportive sales team.

Your basic salary will be £9 per hour and you will also be eligible to earn commission which is up to £10 per package sold. The role is 35 hours per work, typically worked from Monday – Friday though some weekend and evening work may be required. This is a temporary position beginning on 29th June 2020 with the potential to become permanent.

Our office is located in Ouseburn, Newcastle. Your training will take place in the office and last between one – two weeks. After you have successfully completed your training, you will be given your equipment (computer and headset) so you can work remotely apart from working in the office one day every other week alongside the rest of the sales team.

About you

You’ll have previous sales experience, ideally in the utilities or media sector and be experienced in making outbound calls to leads.

You’ll spend most of your day talking to our customers on the phone so you’ll need to have excellent communication skills and a professional phone manner with strong rapport building skills.

It’s essential that you have an enthusiastic attitude, a willingness to learn and a proactive approach to work.

You’ll be handling objections frequently so you’ll need to be a naturally confident person and be determined to see the sale through to completion.
